- Simmer for 25 minutes then mash with a potato masher or blend it up if you prefer a smooth sauce. Take off heat and serve over roasted cauliflower. Enjoy :)
If you've got the size of your pan right, half of the cauliflower will be in the sauce, half above it. Serve sprinkled with the parsley leaves. Set the cauliflower, bottom side down, on top of the onion. Season with the salt and crushed red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer, and cover.
