- Leave cake to completely set and cool for few hours before cutting. It may appear too soft but will definitely firm up once cooled. Use a plastic knife or lightly greased knife to slice (grease knife with butter). Perfect treat for tea time.
Combine the grated cassava, condensed milk, evaporated milk, eggs, butter, sugar, cheese and coconut milk in a mixing bowl and mix until combined. Grease the baking tray, then pour-in the cassava cake batter. Remove from the oven and set aside. Baked grated cassava with coconut milk. This delicious Brazilian snack,called "Bolinho de Macaxeira" is like a fried dumpling or fritter made with manioc (yuca/cassava root) and a cheesy filling;and can be served as an appetizer.
