  6. Prepare 1/4 teaspoon Cardamom powder
  7. Prepare 1/4 cup Cashew nuts
  8. Get 1 tablespoon Ghee

Instructions to make Caramel White Chocolate Palada Payasam:
  1. Soak the ada in boiling water for 30 minutes. Wash the soaked ada in cold water 2 - 3 times, keep aside.
  2. To make caramel white chocolate, combine sugar and 1 tablespoon water in a sauce pan. When the sugar melts and becomes light golden color add 1/3 cup hot water and chopped white chocolate. Melt completely and keep aside.
  3. Boil milk in a heavy bottom pan, add the cooked ada and cook in low flame for 15 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  4. Add the caramel white chocolate mixture and mix well. Cook again in low flame until you get the desired consistency. Remove from fire.
  5. Finally, add cardamom powder and fried cashews.
  6. NOTES - I used Lindt white chocolate in this recipe.
  7. Use 250 ml measuring cup for measuring.

I tried this and it turned out quite good actually. Add in cardamom powder and mix well. Fry nuts and kishmish in ghee till golden, pour it over the payasam and mix. Traditional taste of palada payasam with DOUBLE HORSE RICE PALADA MIX and this is very easy to make. Cashew nuts roasted in ghee also can be added.
