This is a simple pasi paruppu dal thats made in Tamilnadu for Chapati. Its truly simple to make and a very nourishing side dish for chapati. The dal is cooked with a lot of vegetables and finally lemon / lime juice and coriander leaves are added. The fresh sourness from lime with veggies and dal makes it so.
Instructions to make Dal or Dahi ki Chapati:
- Firstly take a large bowl and add wheat flour or All dry spices, 1 tbsp of oil, mix it well.
- Now add Curd or Dal knead a soft dough adding water / curd as required.Mix it well
- Grease oil and rest the dough for 20 minutes.
- Now a pinch a ball Small sized dough and dust with wheat flour.
- Roll gently to medium thiknes. Spread 1/2 teaspoon oil or Ghee and dust with wheat flour.
- Now roll the Chapati
- Now hot tawa place the rolled the partha cook for a minute.and also spread the oil or Ghee Chapati both side and nicely cook.
- Finally Chapati serve with Pickle.
