- Add all the ingredients & saute, now add chopped tomatoes & cook till they become mushy.
- Add dal with 1 glass of water.Cover with lid & after a whistle,slow down the flame & cook for 10 minutes.
- Switch off the flame & let it cool down.Open the lid & mash the dal with masher.If it is thick,add more water & boil.
- Serve hot.
