- In a bowl soak 1 cup chana dal for 2 hours.
- Drain off the water and rest for 20 mins. Or until the dal drains of water completely
- Transfer the Soaked and drained chana dal into mixi jar, Also add 1 inch Ginger, 2 chilli, 1 tsp fennel seeds and 1 tsp cumin.
- Then Blend to a coarse paste without adding any water. now Transfer the grinded chana dal mixture to a large mixing bowl.
- Next Add chopped coriander leaves, pinch of hing and salt according to taste,
- Additionally add chopped fenugreek leaves mix well. squeeze and combine them well.
- Further more grease your hand with oil and prepare small balls, press with 2 palm's and flatten it.
- Also deep fry in hot oil and Stir occasionally till until the dal vada turns golden and crispy. Repeat this process to remaining mixture.
